Join us for a delicious Community BBQ Fundraiser on Saturday, July 11, from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m. at Camp Saratoga in the Town of Wilton! Hosted by the Emma Foundation and Wilton Wildlife Preserve & Park, this family-friendly event is a wonderful way to enjoy a summer evening while supporting local education and outdoor recreation.
Your $20 ticket includes your choice of chicken or tofu, along with potato salad, vegetarian baked beans, coleslaw, cornbread, dessert, and select beverages for those dining in. Enjoy your meal under the pavilion overlooking beautiful Delegan Pond, or take your dinner to go. We accept cash, checks, credit cards, and Venmo.
Please reserve your meal by July 9 by calling 518-248-6676 or emailing theemmafoundation@earthlink.net.
Proceeds from the BBQ will support the Emma Foundation's awards for families in need, Movement programs at the Waldorf Schools, the Spacial Dynamics Institute, and the continued development of Wilton Wildlife Preserve & Park's Larry Gordon Outdoor Education Center at Camp Saratoga.
Wilton Wildlife Preserve & Park is transforming the former Boy Scout camp into a welcoming destination for environmental education, community gatherings, and outdoor exploration. Phase I included the renovation of the Welcome Cabin, and Phase II is now underway with plans for a new multipurpose education building featuring classroom space and exhibits highlighting the area's natural and human history, including artifacts from the Larry Gordon Historic Scouting Collection.
Come enjoy great food, beautiful scenery, and the opportunity to make a lasting impact in our community. We look forward to seeing you there!
