Cross Country Ski and Snowshoeing Trails at Camp Saratoga

Cross Country Ski Trails

Our agreement with NYS DEC allows us to begin to groom after hunting season and once there are six inches of snow on the trails.  When that approval is in place, our staff and volunteers are able to groom 3.5 miles of trail on the Camp Saratoga and Opdahl Farm parcels.

Trails have a difficulty rating of beginner (level trail with no hills) to intermediate (moderately rolling trail with some hills.)  Three main loops are available with increasing distance from the parking lot.

Thanks to Eagle Scout Trevor Borden and the Town of Wilton, we now have a beautiful building at Camp Saratoga to house our ATV and grooming equipment.

We request that trail users respect the groomed trails and leave their use for snowshoe and cross country skier use only. We encourage other trail users to explore the non-groomed trails that are available at Camp Saratoga South, Neilmann, and Edie during the winter months.
