Children in grades 1-6, accompanied by an adult, are invited to construct a natural fairy house in one of the 3 Education Gardens at Wilton Wildlife Preserve. We will begin by listening  to a story about building a fairy home and then view some picture samples.

The Gardens are located in the grassy area just beyond Parking Lot #1. Fairy houses will remain in the gardens for visitors to discover and enjoy. Please dress for the weather and bring water.

What to Expect:

• Dress for the weather as the program will be outdoors.

• Bring water. There are no water fountains

• Use bug spray. Check for ticks when you get home

• We will use natural materials. There will be some provided and some you can find

• We will leave the houses outdoors for the fairies and visitors to enjoy.

• Over time, fairies, wind and rain may rearrange the elements
