This workshop focuses on the relationship between humans and the natural environment!
Join us for an enriching and immersive workshop series that invites you to explore the profound connection between humans and the natural world. Scheduled for three engaging sessions on Tuesdays, September 22, October 6, and Saturday, October 17, from 1:00 to 2:30 pm, this series offers a unique opportunity to deepen your appreciation of the environment while honing your writing skills.
Led by the experienced and insightful Michael Marx, each session begins with a refreshing guided walk through the serene natural landscapes. As you stroll, you'll be encouraged to keenly observe the intricate details and subtle beauty of nature, sparking inspiration for your creative expression. After the walk, participants will gather to engage in dynamic writing exercises, designed to nurture your creativity and help articulate the symbiotic relationship between the self and the surrounding environment.
Saratoga Arts made this program possible through the Community Arts Regrant Program, funded by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature.
